WIVW hosts workshop at the DA2019

WIVW is hosting a workshop on the development of HMI Guidelines for Automated Vehicles at the Driving Assessment Conference in Santa Fe, New Mexico (24.-27.06.2019).

Attendees of the DA conference are invited to participate in a workshop on the development of HMI Guidelines for Automated Vehicles. This workshop will follow the Driving Assessment 2019 Symposium, Thursday, June 27, 2019, beginning at 1:00 pm and ending around 6:30 pm (13:00-18:30) at the Eldorado Hotel, Santa Fe, New Mexico. If you plan to attend the workshop, please consider this when booking your flight, hotel room reservation and other travel expenses.

The workshop will be held with around 12 participants. It is intended for both practitioners and academics in the automotive domain who have previous experience in the ADAS HMI design, development and evaluation methods. The goal of the workshop is to bring together members of the human factors community to stimulate discussion and develop HMI guidelines and assessment methods for the safe and comfortable use of automated driving systems. The workshop will include hands-on experience and evaluation of rented series production partially automated vehicles, the application of an existing heuristic assessment method, and a joint revision of the assessment method based on the input of the workshop attendees.

If you are interested to participate in the workshop, please send an email with a short biography to the WIVW Group organizing committee, Katharina Wiedemann (wiedemann@wivw.de) or Nadja Schömig (schoemig@wivw.de).
As available places for the workshop are limited, attendees will be picked by the organizing committee based on the short biographies.
