The WIVW participated in the Connected Motorcycle Consortium (CMC) Conference at BMW Welt Munich. The CMC was founded by BMW Motorrad, Honda and Yamaha with the aim of promoting Cooperative Intelligent Transportation Systems (C-ITS) for motorcycles.

A further enhancement of traffic safety is possible by including motorcycles in recent Vehicle-2-X communication technologies. WIVW is assigned task leader of "Human-Machine Interface" (HMI).
